1st-7th Mahi Mahi Explosion

Mahi are biting! Today our customers caught there limit of mahi Big game sportfishing off Fort Lauderdale and caught some big dolphin. March is the beginning of the dolphin season and this was a good day. Florida is home to the Dolphins and we get'em. Wednesday Gulfstream fishing off Pompano Beach another success for the mahi-mahi. Spring is also good for blackfin tuna as the boys from Amex found out. We caught two giant citation size blackfins. Ron Ortshield and Brad caught some nice fish Including a 60LB Amberjack but forgot that you need to tip the mate, come on now Brad-Don't be CHEAP! Rob is off to Hawaii so it looks like a fill in Mate for me. Until Next Week! Capt. Jed

8th-14th Sharks Attack!

Lets go shark fishing! We are kicking it off. George Kull caught a huge Thresher Shark and his chick Eileen caught a golden Hammerhead- at the same time! Hope they have a big wall! Meanwhile, back on the reef. King mackerel are supersize with sportfishing going off in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Palm Beach. Fishing is superb! Then we went south to check out some action and can you say " Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale!" Fishing was superb for us down south. Miami is home to the dolphins and we caught them! Along with some sharks and cobia we did great for Mike Stanley and his crew. Bring on the spring!

March 15th - 21st Party WEEK!

All the party goers came out with us this week, spring fever must be in the air. On the 16th, Brendan and his buddies chartered us, six college guys with a lot of beer and even more luck. They landed a huge golden hammerhead, Nice!! The next day was St. Pattys day so it was a night of local bars and green beer for the charter and the crew later that night, Thanks for the drinks guys it was fun. King fish were biting well on Friday the 18th, but our afternoon charter was much more concerned with the partying than the fishing and wouldn't even put their beers down to fight the fish. "Drop the brew Jeff we got another double header"!! Saturay... booked out of Pompano Beach by John F. for Kips bachelor party. Lots of fun, good clean fun, don't any new brides worry Kip left the strippers back on the dock. Finally, the 21st was capt. Jeds daughter's birthday and therefore her first kegger, Yea Madeline.

22ND-31ST EASTER WEEK

What a great week for sportfishing off of Fort Lauderdale, Sails and sharks are both biting well, Rich caught four sails with us live baiting right of of the Pompano Beach fishing peer. Craigs group along with Nate and Matt landed an awesome golden hammerhead shark. The next day Craig Dover his wife and the kids landed two nice trophy fish for the taxidermist, an enormous golden amber jack and a black tip shark. We relaxed a hare on the weekend dying Easter Eggs with our families and catching up on a few well deserved zzzs.
