November 1-14

Fishing has been red hot the last couple of weeks! The weather has been a little rough and kept us in a few days but when conditions allowed us we caught a ton of fish. Kingfish on the reef have been vorocios and we have made sure everyone has caught their limit! A couple of days during the cold front made sailfishing really hot. Multiple hookups were the norm on last friday. Offshore there were some dolphin but we never got out there due to the rough seas. We did get some big ones right on the reef while we were kite fishing for sailfish-what a bonus.

November 14-30

We started out coninuing to catch a bunch of kingfish during the last couple of weeks but as the season progresses were starting tro switch to more and more live bait fishing. The live baits still catch kingas and dolphin but give the edge to catch some really big fish like sailfish, wahoo, big bull dolphin, and some large fish on the wrecks in thwe area. We got Jim wiley out on the 19th for a great catch of kings. The next day we caught a nice sail and a bunch of kings, as well as a dolphin. On the 22nd we picked Cynthia Studdard and crew up at the Boca Hotel for a day of excellent fishing. Along with our typical boatload of kingfish we caught a nice barracuda. Monday the 24th started a little slow but we ended up catching a few fish including a big golden amberjack for the club up in Canada-nice going Donald Boudreau and company. Pat and Mike O'keefe had a great time and were lots of fun to have out on the water. We caught a bunch of fish and got one of the crew their first sailfish. Sails are here to stay for the winter so lets go get em'. No rest for the tired fisherman- Its Thanksgiving day so were going out. In the morning we ran a 3/4 day trip with David Maxwell. Fishing started out good and slowed down a little but we got some king mackerel, dolphinfish, and a spaish mackerel too. In the afternoon we brought out Sean Lillis and crew for a half day trip. It was pretty much a duplicate of the fishing from this morning. Friday the 28th saw some sailfish action for Tim Stark, way to go guys! On Saturday we brought Sanders Parks and his crew out. Sanders wanted to catch some snappers so we obliged and caught sixty vermillion snapper in an hour and filled up the big cooler. We were getting them from three to six at a time-mmmm,mmm,good. On Sunday we took phil and Shaynee Fanara out and used live bait and kites to catch a beautiful sailfish. The colors on these hungry fish are amazing and just jump right out at you. Lots of kings and dolphin around also. In the afternoon we went out with Kev and Max Haughey and what do you know, we caught another sailfish. Way to end the month!
