Out to the deep sea, fishing in florida
Good week for sailfish, front has come and promises even more. We went 1 for 3 on the 2nd and caught a couple on the 3rd. Meanwhile, the spanish mackerel are here. We caught 20-30 each trip this week, never spending more than an hour fishing for them! These fish weigh between 2 and 9 pounds and are loads of fun on light tackle. We like the big fish so we have limited these catches to an hour so we could get onto the sailfish and have caught several dolphin on the live ballyhoo we have been using for bait too.

Deep sea fishing florida december 8th-15th

South florida deep sea fishing is red hot right now!
Sailfish are the big draw. If you are looking for one of these beasts on your wall its time to come down! Mackerel of various species are also tearing up the baits with their sharp snapping teath! Big catches including a huge sail for Lucas Hocker! Sporadic dolphin action in 100-200 feet of water has given lots of smiles too.
We suggest spending at least half the trip with live baits and the kites up this timew of year to get in on the sails and winter dolphin. Suspending the livies from the kites fools em' every time! Its fun too!

Deep sea fishing florida december 16th-22nd

Fishing off the steeple in Fort Lauderdale has been good so far this week. We had the Mihelich triplets out for their 6th birthday this week and had a triple header of king mackerel on for them! As well as many other fish we caught we had a sailfish on. The 4 mile run to the fort lauderdale fishing grounds has been worth it (hey its only 10 minutes!) and we have scored with kings and sailfish this week. We often run to the boca raton fishing grounds (also 4 miles) but fishing off fort lauderdale is better this week.
We are going out of town tomorrow for Christmas and coming back the 26th but feel free to call! I'll have my cell on me to set up your trip.
Expect great sailfishing with live bait to continue in the near future with some on dead bait trolling too. The reef should continue to be full of king mackerel and some of the winter dolphin we haqve been catching lately (tasty green demons of the sea).
Shark fishing will be good with the new year coming too. Ask us about these trips if you have interest in a really tough fight. We pioneered the art of fishing for sailfish and sharks at the same time for a truly trophy experience!!

Merry Christmas! Ending the year with a huge BANG

Happy Holidays everyone! This has been a truly awsome week! We have caught some great fish! Tuesday We caught Kingfish and giant Amberjacks on both our trips as well as some Bombers. wednesday was two more trips just like Monday. Thursday was the first bang! On our morning 3/4 day we got a huge Hammerhead shark-nice trophy too! Friday we had a repeat performance and got #2. Another beauty for the wall! We also got tons of kings on both our trips and some grouper too. Saturday was #3. A big Bull shark for Stanly Rubin and crew! In the afternoon a huge sailfish for Steven Veneruso and company! Way to end the year!
