OCTOBER 2006

1ST-8TH TIME TO KITE FISH

Its the time of year when the sailfish might surprise you give you a really hot bite, so we do a lot of kite fishing in anticipation. We didn't land any sails this week, but the kites produced alot of tuna, a few big mahi and some barracuda.

October 9th-20th

Fishing was actually pretty slow off and on during this period but we did have some catches of note-
Almost every day we caught a couple of mahi mahi but on the 14th we had a solid dozen. The 15th brought some mahi but we were more impressed with the 4 wahoo we got. On the 18th we had 5 big dolphin and a blackfin tuna and a wahoo as well as 5 0r 6 kings on the reef. Skipjack tuna are around and we caught a few on the 19th. Fishing off Fort Lauderdale we used live ballyhoo to catch a sailfish and a few kings to round off the week. Come on out and get Some'

21ST-31ST HALLOWEEN WEEK

We did some live bait fishing off of DelRey Beach this week and it produced some real excitement. Pulling the live baits right on the surface of the water ensures some intense action. Before they are attacked, the bait fish will dart accross the water trying in vain to escape. That alerts everyone on the boat to "get ready". Seconds later a massive explosion usually occurs. King mackeral will leap up to 20' feet in the air crashing onto the bait, sailfish slash wildly with their bills and mahi mahi charge at the boat like a run away train. This is the Crowd Pleaser's most common style of fishing from here thru March. So BOOK US UP for some HOT FISHING ACTION.
